A leading digital consultancy are recruiting a Data Scientist.

The successful Data Scientist will be leveraging the big data environment to create and apply advanced machine learning and statistical techniques. This business are growing their data science division over the next 24 months and hope to increase the team size by 12 heads in this time frame.

They are interviewing with a course of succession planning and hope to identify a Data Scientist who can lead the Analytics department for the next 12 months – in line with a retirement taking place in August 2018.

The role includes

Developing models and solutions on a across wide range of projects. Some including Marketing, HR, Financial models.
Assessing and adopting new analytical tools within the Hadoop ecosystem

Required Skills of the Data Scientist:

Python, R or Scala
Analytics, database design and predictive modelling
Experience with propensity modelling, classifiers and segmentation
Structuring data for rapid analytics and batch processing
Experienced working with large volumes of data
Capable of managing a varied workload with differing priorities
