Job Description

Our client is a digital health company focused on building clinical audit software for hospitals.  Their solutions are helping transform healthcare in the UK by developing cost-effective database systems specialised to individual departments. Operating both in UK and internationally they currently supply products for a variety of teams ranging from Intensive Care to Asthma & Allergy as well as products for Paediatrics.

Once a month to go into the Gerrards Cross office, remote otherwise

Role Purpose:

We are seeking a Data Analyst to design, develop, and maintain embedded analytics, visualizations, and dashboards to support various business requirements and objectives.  You will be focusing on delivery and working directly with partners and customers to identify the necessary activities required to complete each client’s implementation and follow through to ensure that the activities are performed in a timely, high-quality manner.

What you will be doing:

As a Data Analyst, you’ll be building the future of healthcare. Our Client envisage a solution that can support the NHS in making data-driven decisions, support front-line healthcare workers in making safer, better-informed decisions, and empower patients to better engage with their own care.  You will design, develop, and maintain embedded analytics, visualizations, and dashboards to support various business requirements and objectives using SQL to manipulate and analyse large datasets, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

Once a month to go into the Gerrards Cross office, remote otherwise

What experience you'll have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or a related field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with a business intelligence tool – such as Qlik or Yellowfin

• Strong proficiency in SQL with at least 2 years of experience using SQL for data manipulation and analysis

• Solid understanding of data modelling data warehousing and ETL concepts

You'll have an understanding of:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements for data analysis projects

• Data modelling and architecture design to optimize Qlik / Yellowfin performance and maintainability

• Conducting data quality assessments and implementing data cleansing and enrichment techniques as necessary

• Providing end-user training and support and best practices

• Continuous researching of emerging trends in data analytics and new technologies
